Remote Wireless Locations

General Information

Information Technology Services (ITS) is aware of concerns many have about some of our students and employees having limited internet access. While we are not able to provide internet services to personal residences, students and employees are encouraged to take advantage of wireless coverage we have added in various outdoor areas of campus.

The wireless services below are available to all students and employees.

Outdoor areas where wireless can be accessed from within a vehicle:

1. North side of the second, third and fourth floors of the Baker Pattillo Student Center Parking Garage (side closest to BPSC)

2. Parking lot in front of the Janice Pattillo Early Childhood Research Center (close to the building)

3. Parking lot between Tucker Health Services Building and Human Services Building (close to ticket booth)

4. Parking lots on Griffith Boulevard in front of Hall 10 and North Hall

5. Parking lot behind the Ed and Gwen Cole STEM Building

Outdoor areas where wireless can be accessed by exiting a vehicle:

1. North side of the Ed and Gwen Cole STEM Building

2. Quadrangle surrounding Surfin’ Steve statue (common area between the McKibben Education, McGee Business and Steen Library buildings)

3. North side of the Roy and Linda Bush Mathematical Sciences Building

4. West side of the Student Recreation Center

5. Intramural fields (near the restroom)

6. Exterior areas between Lumberjack Village 1, 2 and 3 buildings
