The redesigned mySFA portal has several new features including improved navigation.
Here's a look into some of the new features and some tips for navigating the portal with an emphasis on the student and employee home pages.
Icons
Clicking on an icon will navigate users to the specified software/site.
Note: Users may be prompted log-in again after clicking on an Icon to ensure secure access.
Navigation Menu
The My Menu drop-down is a new feature that allows users to save their favorite mySFA links!
Note: Favorited links are browser-specific. For instance, if users save a favorite on My Menu in Google Chrome, it will not save as a favorite in Firefox or their mobile browser. Favorites stored in My Menu are cookie/cache-based. If cookies/cache are cleared, you may need to re-add your favorites to My Menu.
Links in the Navigation Menu take users directly to the various areas within mySFA.
Employment Menu
The Employment menu includes employee links, benefits, resources, and dining.
Academics Menu
The Academics menu includes advisor and faculty pages.
Finance Menu
The Finance menu directs users to the Budget & Finance page.
Quick Navigation
Links in the Quick Navigation box take users directly to the various areas within mySFA such as Employee, Budget & Finance, Advisor, Resources, Faculty, and Dining. These areas can also be accessed using the Navigation Menu at the top of mySFA.
Collapsible Sections
The redesigned mySFA utilizes collapsible sections that can be clicked on to expand for more information or links!
Contact Information
Users can view or update their contact information by clicking on the Update Contact Info button.
Note: users will be directed to Self-Service Banner (SSB) to update their contact information, which may require an additional login to ensure secure access.
Calendar
The University Calendar will display upcoming events within the redesigned mySFA!
