Body
JackText is an informational text messaging service that allows University offices to communicate with students, staff, and faculty regarding university business and extracurricular activities. JackText is not the same as the Campus Alert system, which is used to notify students, staff, and faculty of situations on, or near campus that they should be aware of, such as severe weather, crime alerts, or active emergencies.
Anyone with a mySFA account can sign up for JackText messaging. You may also sign up family and friends to receive university notifications, including student business, extracurricular, and payroll notifications. There is no charge to participate in the JackText messaging service; however, you may be charged by your cell phone service provider for your text messaging service.
