Accessing a generic account from the web (OWA):
- Login to mySFA with your SFA account
- Click the Email icon
- Once logged into the OWA, click your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select “Open another mailbox” from the drop down menu
- Enter the email address – Click OK, then Open
- You should now be accessing the generic account via the OWA
To add a Generic Account to Outlook (Windows):
- Click “File” in the top right
- Select “Account Settings”
- Select “Account Settings” from the drop-down menu
- If the email account is already listed, then select the account and click remove
- Click “New” under the Email Tab
- Enter the email address of the generic account into the Email Address box
- Click Connect
- Outlook will take a few moments to connect to the mailbox
- When prompted, click “Exchange” as the mailbox type
- If you are prompted for credentials to the generic email, please use your mySFA username and password
- Restart outlook to see the added mailbox
