Dear Lumberjack Faculty and Staff,

We are pleased to announce an upcoming improvement to the security of our single sign-on (SSO) system. Beginning August 19, 2025, Duo Verified Push will be required for all SSO logins by Faculty and Staff. This change enhances the protection of your account and university data.

What is Verified Push?
Duo Verified Push is a more secure way of confirming your identity when logging in with SSO. Instead of simply tapping Approve on a push notification, you will enter a short verification code displayed on the Duo login screen into the Duo app.

Why the Change?
This update is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen cybersecurity and safeguard sensitive information. Verified Push significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access from phishing and other attacks.
