International Travel Device Preparation Sessions – May 6 & 7, 2026

Information Technology Services (ITS) will be hosting two upcoming sessions to assist faculty and staff who are planning to travel internationally and need to prepare their university-issued or personal devices for secure access to SFA resources.

 

These sessions will provide an overview of key considerations and available tools related to international travel, including expectations for accessing university systems, recommended security practices, and resources available to support connectivity abroad. Topics covered are aligned with current ITS guidance on traveling with devices and accessing university services from outside the United States.

 

Event Details:

 

  • Dates: May 6 and May 7
  • Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (come and go)
  • Location: Lumberjack Learning Lab 2, Ralph Steen Library

 

ITS staff and technicians from the Center for Teaching and Learning will be available during these sessions to review preparation steps, answer questions, and assist with device readiness, including support for Brightspace questions or issues. Be sure to bring any computers and/or smart phones you plan to use on your trip so we may assist you with set up.
