The Duo Prompt appears after you enter your SFA username and password. It is the final step required to complete your sign-in.

What to Do When the Duo Prompt Appears

  1. Confirm that you are actively trying to sign in.
  2. Review the information shown on the Duo Prompt.
  3. Complete authentication using Duo Verified Push or a hardware token.

Using Duo Verified Push

Duo Verified Push is the default authentication method at SFA. When prompted, a push notification is sent to the Duo Mobile app on your enrolled device.

  • Open the Duo Mobile app
  • Enter the verification number shown on the screen
  • Approve the login request

Using a Hardware Token

If you use a Duo hardware token, generate a passcode when prompted and enter it to complete authentication.

Important
If you receive a Duo Prompt that you did not initiate, do not approve it. Contact the IT Help Desk immediately.
