  • Power Up Your Protection: four short levels of cybersecurity training for SFA faculty and staff
  • Level 1 opens Tuesday, Oct. 6, and a new level opens each Monday through Oct. 26
  • All levels should be completed by Friday, Oct. 30

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This year, IT Security is offering Power Up Your Protection, a game-themed campaign that breaks cybersecurity into four short “levels” of videos, games, and interactive modules. Each level takes only a few minutes and covers threats you are likely to see at work and at home.

Each level stays open once it unlocks, so you can catch up any time before Oct. 30.

How to Participate

  1. Watch for an email from IT Security each time a new level opens, and select the link to start that level in ZenGuide.
  2. Check this category for that level’s article. It has tips and a short weekly challenge.
  3. Use the Player Guide, attached to this article, to track your progress.

Power Up Your Protection is optional and does not replace the required Cybersecurity Awareness Training and AI awareness training, which are due Nov. 30.
