SFA supports the use of three apps to check your SFA email. The Outlook App is recommended, as it’s available on most devices and is the easiest to configure. We also support the Mail app for iPhone, and the Gmail app for Android.
Click on any of the app names above to navigate directly to step-by-step instructions for adding your SFA email account.
Outlook App
The Outlook App functions similarly on iOS and Android devices. The following instructions should work for both platforms.
STEP 1
If you have recently downloaded the Outlook app or if you have no other email accounts added to the app, you’ll see the screen below.
Tap the Add Account button.
OR
If you’re already using the Outlook App with another email account, tap on the icon to the left of the word “Inbox” in the upper-left corner to open the navigation menu.
Then, tap the + button, followed by Add an account.
STEP 2
One of two possible screens will now appear depending on whether your device automatically detects your SFA account:
If presented with this screen, tap the Continue button.
OR
If presented with this screen, enter your SFA email address in the box provided. Then tap the Continue button.
STEP 3
You’ll now be taken to the SFA login page. Enter your mySFA username and password. Then tap the Login button and authenticate with Duo as you normally would.
NOTE: Be sure to enter your USERNAME here, not your SFA email address!
If the account was added successfully, you’ll see a screen asking if you want to add another account. This is personal preference, as the Outlook App can also manage personal email addresses if you wish.
If you do not wish to add another address, tap Maybe Later.
You’re all set!
Note that it may take several minutes for all emails and folders to become accessible. Please contact the Help Desk at (936) 468-HELP with any questions.
