How to Submit the GRA/GTA Scholarship Application

Login to mySFA, navigate to the Student Employee Tab, then select the GRA/GTA Scholarship Application link located in the Benefits Portlet (heading).

This will open a new tab with one of the following messages:

  • Submissions Not Open (no action required until application opens):
    • A message displays stating the date the application will open for the specified term.

  • Application Submitted (no action required):
    • A message displays stating that an application is on file detailing the term, submission date, and status.

  • Application NOT Submitted (action required):
    • A message displays stating there is not an application on file detailing the position and term.
    • Applicants MUST read the associated policy and check the box to submit.

  • Clicking Submit displays a successful submission message and triggers an automated email notification to the supervisor for review and decision.

  • If the supervisor approves, the application will automatically route to the Graduate School for review/decision with a triggered email notification.
