Supported iOS and Android Versions for Duo Mobile

- Duo Mobile requires supported versions of iOS and Android to remain secure

Duo Mobile helps protect your SFA account through multi-factor authentication (MFA).
To maintain security and reliability, Duo periodically updates the minimum operating system
versions it supports. Devices running unsupported operating systems may continue to function
temporarily but will no longer receive updates or support.
Supported Mobile Operating Systems
Effective April 16, 2026, Duo Mobile will require the following minimum
operating system versions:
- iOS: Version 17 or newer
- Android: Version 12 or newer

Important
Devices running iOS 16 or Android 11 will no longer receive
Duo Mobile updates, maintenance fixes, or security improvements after April 16, 2026.

What This Means for You
- Duo Push notifications and Duo Mobile passcodes may continue to work on unsupported devices
- Unsupported devices will not receive security updates or bug fixes
- You will not be able to install newer versions of Duo Mobile on unsupported devices
- IT Support and Duo Support cannot troubleshoot Duo Mobile issues on unsupported OS versions
- SMS passcodes and phone call authentication are not affected

Recommended Action
To remain fully supported, update your mobile device to a supported version of iOS or Android
before April 16, 2026. If you replace or upgrade your device, you may need to reconnect
Duo Mobile after installation.
