How to Certify an Internal Proposal

After routing an Internal Funding Proposal for review, the PI (and any other Personnel listed in the proposal) are required to Certify the Proposal.

1. Login to your mySFA and navigate to the Research Tab, then click on Cayuse
2. In the top right corner in Cayuse, click Products, then select Home in the drop-down menu

3. In the My Tasks section, locate and select the Certify Proposal task identified by the proposal number

4. Review ALL sections and information in the proposal for accuracy
5. Once the proposal is reviewed in full, scroll up to the My Actions area and click Certify Proposal

6. A pop-up dialogue box will appear with important certification text. Read the certification statement in its entirety, then check the Confirm my Certification check-box

7. Finally, click Certify Proposal in the bottom right corner of the dialogue box to move the routing forward in the automated routing process
