Moving Videos from Zoom to OneDrive

Upload Video to Microsoft OneDrive

1.    Log into mySFA and select the gray Office365 button. 
2.    Under Apps, select OneDrive.
3.    Create a folder with the blue New button.

4.    Enter the name of the folder (for example, “Zoom videos”). Click Create.

5.    Click into newly created folder. A screen will notify you to “Drag files here”. 

6.    Select the recordings previously downloaded to your computer and click and drag the files into the folder.
7.    A notification will appear in the top right corner of the menu bar to show the upload progress. 

Add OneDrive Video to D2L as a Single Content Page

Though it is possible to share videos stored in OneDrive with others, we do not recommend doing so, as OneDrive is not a streaming solution. If your video needs to be shared with others, we recommend Microsoft Stream or YouTube. ***PLEASE LINK TO THE APPROPRIATE PAGES IN TD FOR THOSE INSTRUCTIONS.*** Please see the respective help pages for details on the appropriate use of each solution. 


1.    Navigate to OneDrive and select the Zoom folder created in the last section.
2.    Click the Share button to the right of the video name.


3.    Disable the Allow Editing checkbox, and click Apply.

4.    Click the Copy Link button at the bottom of the pop-up screen. 

5.    Navigate to D2L. Select your course, and click on content.
6.    Navigate to the module, click the blue New button, and select Create a Link.
7.    In the pop-up window, provide a title in the Title box, and paste the link into the URL box.
8.    Optionally, you can select the checkbox “Open as External Resource” to open the link in another tab. 
9.    Click the blue Create button.

1.    Navigate to the content page to which you want to add your OneDrive video. 
2.    Click Insert Link.
3.    Paste in the link. Click Next. 
4.    Click Insert (lower left-hand corner).
