How do I submit a ticket for someone else using the service catalog?


All faculty, staff and students have the ability to assign ticket requesters while creating tickets.

  1. Start by locating the desired service, selecting "Submit a Ticket," to open a ticket request form.

  2. When filling out the form, find the field marked Requester:
  3. By default your name will be in this field. To set another person as the requester, press the magnifying glass to search the directory.
  4. Find the person you are submitting the ticket for, and click on their name to select them as the requester. After you have done so you can continue filling out the form as usual.
  5. When you submit the request the ticket will be in their name, though you will still be logged as having created the ticket.
